Is India Nepal Relations (or INR) a fraternal or maternal ?
Ranjit Rae argues it is fraternal, a kind of brotherhood relationship. Maybe he means to say India is a big brother and Nepal is a little brother.
Most of the time it is said that India-Nepal Relations is of Bread and Daughter. That means INR is maternal, especially in the boarder areas.
So, is INR socially maternal and politically fraternal ?
It is a matter of pride to see a long full page advertisement of highlights of India-Nepal partnership on NEWSPAPERS of Nepal ! The highlight of partnership mostly includes Indian Activities in Nepal. Partnership is always two way. Maybe Nepal has also done and sacrificed a lot for India. Why aren't those mentioned in the advertisement. If not why isn't the advertisement named INDIAN AID TO NEPAL ?
When will Nepal start to celebrate independence?
